Wanted: Advance Readers

This isn’t truly a blog post, but is more of a “help wanted” ad! I’m currently working on my next book, which I’m hoping to finish up by the end of May. In the meantime, I’m looking to put together a dependable Advance Reader Team. Presently, I have 10 – 12 people who read for me, but my goal is to double that number. If you’re curious about the role of an advance reader, here are some things to consider:

Are you a fan of Jane Austen variations/vagaries, or stories loosely based on her work – otherwise known as JAFF (Jane Austen Fan Fiction)?

Are you a fan of contemporary/modern romance?

Do you regularly review books on Amazon/Goodreads/BookBub, and/or any other sites?

Do you blog, post on social media, or tell others about books you love?

If your answer to any of those questions is YES, then you might be a good fit for my Advance Reader Team!

You may be asking why authors like to have advance readers. Well, as you probably already know, reviews are essential to the success of a book, especially one written by an author who self-publishes AND writes in such a niche genre/market – like me!

So… What does an advance reader do, you ask? It’s easy! An advance reader will receive a copy of a book BEFORE it’s published/released, and then has three responsibilities:

1. Read the whole book.

2. Leave a review – NOT just a rating – on Amazon/Goodreads/BookBub within 24 – 48 hours of the book’s official release.

3. Include a statement in the review that says you received an advance copy of the book and are VOLUNTARILY leaving an UNBIASED review.

And that’s it!

If you think you might be interested in becoming a part of my Advance Reader Team, please click on the ARC Team/Contact tab in the menu, and fill out the requested information.

Thanks for stopping by, and happy reading!
