I love all of Cat Andrews’ variations and this one doesn’t disappoint. She does a wonderful job of bringing the tale of P&P into a modern time while remaining true to the essence of the original.
I am a faithful fan of Pride and Prejudice variations set in the Regency era. But let’s face it: our favorite couple – Elizabeth and Darcy – has always been restricted by that time’s social and cultural mores. Then comes Cat Andrews who ‘transports’ their lives to our modern times and exponentially expands the possibilities and experiences of who they can be, and what they can do. Yet we can still see them, their qualities and dispositions shining through; their flaws, and their willingness to grow – always inspiring and always entertaining.
In classic Cat Andrews fashion, this story seamlessly blends heartwarming moments with deep character development.
