Coming in 2021…
Elizabeth Bennet grew up in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts, moved to Boston at the age of sixteen, and never looked back. She’s a true city girl who loves everything about Boston—the crowds, the tall buildings, and the pulsing energy that permeates the streets. She spent her college years here, made wonderful friends, and has built a thriving career around her dream job. She can’t imagine living anywhere else.
Will Darcy grew up in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, and with the exception of a brief stint in college, he’s never left. He’s a bona fide country boy who loves everything about living in Stockbridge—the crisp, clean air, the beautiful mountains, and the wide open spaces surrounding him. He knows just about everyone, has embraced the laid-back lifestyle that comes with living in a small town, and is working hard to turn his family’s farm back into the thriving business it was years ago. He can’t imagine living anywhere else.
When Elizabeth’s older sister moves back to West Stockbridge from California to turn their vacant family home into a bed and breakfast—and falls head over heels for a local contractor—Elizabeth decides it’s time to pay a visit to her hometown.
When Will’s best friend begins renovating a rambling old house in West Stockbridge—and begins showing interest in the owner—Will decides it’s time to meet this ‘new girl.’
Within a few days of arriving in West Stockbridge, the city girl meets the country boy. Eye-rolling abounds, and insults and misunderstandings fly—but so do the sparks.
This is a Pride and Prejudice-inspired contemporary variation, with some of the usual cast of characters. It’s sort of Canon-ish, but with a few twists, turns, flips, and flops. It contains adult content and is meant for mature readers.
